• Question: is their bacteria in the north pole

      Well @dan33… I have been putting off answering this question as I didn’t want to just say “Yes” because there is bacteria everywhere… Bacteria in the North pole are actually quite hard to find out about…

      Extreme cold is one of the few environments that bacteria doesn’t do so well in. Scientists used to think that bacteria found in the snows of the North and South poles had just been blown there. Now though scientists know there are actually unique species of bacteria living at the North pole all the time at temperatures of up to -85 degrees Celsius.
