      Hi Beastboy. The current opinion in science is that we evolved from apes. This isn’t my speciality, but from what I’m aware we moved away from our ancestors to be fully upright stood. Apes are less mobile when standing up. We can also communicate verbally and work with complex thoughts. Some apes do show the ability to use things as tools, but not to the same extent. I’m not sure if we know why we made that change from ape, but it was clearly a good decision as humans have gone on to the be the most sucessful species on the planet.
