      Hi ponies

In order to be a vet you will need very good grades, which should include Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A-levels. Ideally you will also have either Maths or Physics too as a third subject (at A-level), but that varies between schools. Getting into veterinary medicine is very challenging and very competitive, so make sure that you study a lot and get very good grades. Also, vet schools really like people that get summer experience in vet surgeries before they apply. So see if in a few years you can get some experience at your local vet or, ideally, in a vet surgery that especialises in horses. You will have a lot of fun and it will really increase your chances to get in 🙂

Best of luck, I bet you will make a great vet!
