      That is a hard question, as it does depend on what you think the best volcano should be like. I come from Tenerife and there we have the highest volcano in Europe, so for me it is the best (it is called Teide). But there are some cool volcanoes in the Andes (that’s in South America), in the Rocky mountains (North America), in Africa, in Asia and in many islands of the Pacific.

      If you want a very active volcano, look for Mount Etna in Sicily, the most active volcano in Europe. If you want the highest volcano (above sea level), that would be in the border of Argentina and Chile, the Ojos del Salado. If you want the highest in the world (from the sea bed), that would be Mauna Kea in Hawaii (Teide comes 3rd in this list!). If you want the largest then that would be the recently discovered volcano Tamu Massif, which lays underwater off the coast of Japan.
