Question: what's the deadliest sample you've received?

I can’t think of any that have been particularly deadly. It sounds really boring, but we actually get very few samples from patients that are infected with something. This is of course a good thing for the patient. I have worked with some that have been identified as being infected with malaria and dengue fever (both cause a really high temperature and other symptoms), which are not great diseases to have (not that any disease is great).
